Special Education Philippines was invited to Palarong Pambansa 2012 at Pangasinan as one of the official DepEd bloggers. Arriving at Dagupan on May 6, 2012, we were welcomed by NCR Regional Director Rizalino Jose “Joriz” Rosales and the teachers from Dagupan West Central Elementary School.

Bro Armin Visits West Dagupan Central Elementary School Special Education Philippines

After partaking the abundant seafood of Dagupan, we joined DepEd Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro, FSC to give moral support to the Palarong Pambansa 2012 players from different regions. The two things the DepEd secretary was particular of is the presence of restrooms and washrooms and matresses in th make-shift clasroom quarters where our talented players will rest in preparation for tomorrow’s big event. Bro. Luistro of DepEd was quoted saying that he has, “16 (locations)” to see for the Palarong Pambansa 2012 players.

During the DepEd secretary’s visit, the players were having their dinner. The dinner served to the Palarong Pambansa 2012 players included fruits like apples and bananas. All healthy food for our national players. There are bottles of mineral water available to the players as well.

Trivia: Since its the Heritage month this May, Special Education Philippines was delighted to discover that found in the Dagupan West Central Elementary School is a bathtub used by General McArthur. The house where the bath tub is found is now transformed to a library.
