Ang Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra ang nangungunang orchestra sa Pilipinas at kinikilalang isa sa pinakamagaling sa rehiyon ng Asya-Pacifico. Ito ay itinatag noong Mayo 15, 1973 sa taguring CCP Philharmonic Orchestra, upang matugtugan ang mga artistang nagtatanghal sa CCP Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo.

Si Professor Luis Valencia ang unang Director Pangmusika, at si Julian Quirit ang Concertmaster. Noong 1097, nireorganisa ng dating Unang Ginang Imelda R. Marcos ang orchestra sa tulong ni Professor Oscar C. Yatco.

Sining Alamin “Ang Ating Orkestra”: An Arts Education Program Thanks to Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and PETA

On the last day of May 2012 to cap our summer activities, my son and I went to PETA to watch Sining Alamin “Ang Ating Orkestra”: an Arts Education Program performed by the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra thanks to CCP and PETA.

Special Education Philippines saw the original post from The Bright Side. Confirmation of tickets were done via landline and then via cellphone and finally via sms. Meann Espinosa who reserved our tickets for this free concert was very accommodating.

We arrived just on time before the free concert started. Parents were asked to seat on one side of the theater while the kids seat on the center age. This Sining Alamin concert is really dedicated for children to have musical instrument appreciation. According to the post from The Bright Side:
