“The longest running Philippine theater classic ‘Kanser’, penned by Jomar Fleras”, will be seen once again in Concert at the Park this Sunday, August 26, 2012, starting at 7:00 p.m., under the direction of Adriana Agcaoili and Jheyar Caguimbal. Leading the cast of Gantimpala Theater’s Actors Company are Ms. Cris Pastor as Maria Clara and Jay Gonzaga as Crisostomo Ibarra.

The last weekend of May 2012 is fast approaching. If you are looking for the last summer activities for you and your loved ones then Special Education Philippines recommends attending the cultural presentations organized by the NPDC at Paco Park and Rizal Park. The good thing about going to these events is that these activities are very accessible to Metro Manila Residents. If only Special Education Philippines can visit all of the cultural presentations of NPDC that would be great! So guys if you have the chance to watch these concerts, we hope that you can share with us your experience.
“MGA KINAGILIWANG AWITING PILIPINO” IN PACO PARK PRESENTS
Paco Park Presents formally closes its May calendar this Friday, May 25, 2012, starting at 6:00 p.m., with an all-Filipino program, titled, “Mga Kinagiliwang Awiting Pilipino”, featuring soprano Jamie Charisse Sampana, baritone Zip de Guzman and pianist Farley Asuncion. Ms. Thea Perez is program host. The public is cordially invited.
Soprano Jamie Charisse Sampana is a student of voice of Prof. Irma Potenciano at the UST Conservatory of Music. She is also a private student of Prof. Josefina Garlit-Bailen. A grand prize winner of the 2009 Jovita Fuentes Vocal Competition, she is also the holder of Best in Aria (Opera Prize) at the Musika at Sining:Diwa ng Sangkatauhan (Music & Arts: Soul of Humanity) and a second placer in the 2007 Mga Awiting Pilipino, Isang Kompetisyon sa Tinig Para sa Mga Kabataang Mang-aawit.
